Chapter 1
Tuade stood outside Adeola's apartment building, a bouquet of roses in hand, his heart pounding with nervous excitement. He was determined to make today a day to remember—a day where he would charm Adeola like never before.
As Adeola stepped out of the building, her eyes widened in surprise at the sight of Tuade holding the bouquet. "Tuade, what's all this?" she exclaimed, a smile playing at the corners of her lips.
Tuade grinned, feeling a surge of confidence wash over him. "I thought we could spend the day together, just you and me," he replied, offering her the bouquet.
Adeola took the flowers, her eyes sparkling with delight. "That sounds wonderful," she replied, her voice filled with excitement.
With that, Tuade led Adeola to a waiting helicopter, ready to whisk them away on an unforgettable adventure. As they soared over Victoria Island, the city spread out beneath them like a sprawling patchwork of lights.
"Wow, Tuade, this is amazing!" Adeola exclaimed, her eyes wide with wonder.
Tuade smiled, feeling a sense of pride at Adeola's reaction. "I'm glad you like it," he replied, his heart swelling with happiness.
As the helicopter made its way back to solid ground, Tuade led Adeola to the waterfront, where a luxurious boat awaited them. They boarded the boat and set sail into the sunset, the sky ablaze with fiery hues of orange and pink.
"This is so romantic, Tuade," Adeola said, her voice filled with awe as she watched the sunset.
Tuade took Adeola's hand in his, his heart racing with emotion. "I wanted to do something special for you," he confessed, his eyes locked with hers.
Adeola smiled, her cheeks flushed with warmth. "You've certainly succeeded," she replied, squeezing his hand affectionately.
As they sailed along the glittering waters, Tuade knew it was time to share his plans with Adeola. "Adeola, there's something I want to tell you," he began, his voice serious.
Adeola turned to him, her curiosity piqued. "What is it, Tuade?" she asked, her eyes searching his face.
Tuade took a deep breath, gathering his thoughts. "I want to become an estate agent," he confessed.
Adeola's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "An estate agent? Why?" she asked, puzzled.
Tuade smiled, his eyes shining with determination. "Because I want to use it as a way to identify and snap up the best property deals in Victoria Island," he explained.
Adeola's eyes widened in understanding. "That's a brilliant idea, Tuade," she exclaimed, impressed by his ambition.
But Tuade wasn't done yet. "There's something else I need to tell you," he continued, his voice serious. "My family came into their money by winning the lottery."
Adeola's jaw dropped in shock. "The lottery? But how?" she exclaimed, unable to hide her surprise.
Tuade sighed, his shoulders slumping slightly. "I'm worried that my father and sister will just spend all the money at the rate they're going," he confessed. "I want to make sure we invest the money wisely."
Adeola reached out and took Tuade's hand in hers, her eyes filled with admiration. "Tuade, I love your plan," she declared, her voice filled with sincerity. "And I'll help you every step of the way."
Chapter 2
Tuade sat at his desk, poring over his study materials for the estate agent license exam. He was determined to succeed, to prove to himself and to his family that he could make something of himself in the real estate world.
Adeola, noticing his intense focus, approached him with a smile. "How's the studying going, Tuade?" she asked, her voice filled with encouragement.
Tuade looked up from his books, a determined glint in his eyes. "It's going well, Adeola. I'm determined to pass this exam," he replied confidently.
Adeola nodded, her admiration for Tuade growing with each passing day. "I have no doubt you'll ace it, Tuade," she said, her voice filled with conviction.
With Adeola's support and encouragement, Tuade threw himself into his studies with renewed vigor. He spent long hours memorizing real estate laws and regulations, practicing his negotiation skills, and familiarizing himself with the intricacies of the property market.
Finally, the day of the exam arrived. Tuade walked into the testing center with a sense of confidence, ready to prove himself. And when the results came in, he was overjoyed to see that he had passed with flying colors.
Adeola greeted him with a congratulatory hug, her face beaming with pride. "I knew you could do it, Tuade!" she exclaimed, her eyes shining with admiration.
With his estate agent license in hand, Tuade wasted no time in putting his newfound skills to use. He joined "Dream Living," the prestigious estate agency where Adeola worked, and together they formed a formidable team.
Tuade and Adeola quickly became known as the top-performing agents in the company, their passion for beautiful properties and good deals driving them to new heights of success. They worked tirelessly, tirelessly, selling more houses and apartments than any other agents in the company.
But Tuade had bigger plans than just selling properties. With Adeola's help, he convinced his father to invest in their first property—an apartment in a prime location in Victoria Island. And thanks to Tuade's keen eye for a good deal, they managed to snag it for an amazingly low price.
With the apartment secured, Tuade and Adeola wasted no time in finding a tenant, eager to start earning income from their investment. And as their combined commissions began to roll in, they started saving diligently, with the goal of eventually buying their own apartment together.
As they sat together, poring over property listings and discussing their plans for the future, Tuade couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for Adeola. With her by his side, he knew that anything was possible. And as they looked ahead to the journey that lay before them, he couldn't wait to see where their partnership would take them.
Chapter 3
Tuade's heart raced with anticipation as he led Adeola toward the apartment he had found. He couldn't wait to show her the surprise he had planned, a surprise that would change their lives forever.
As they stepped inside the apartment, Adeola's eyes widened in surprise at the sight before her. On the balcony overlooking the waterfront, a table was set for two, adorned with a delicious meal and bathed in the warm glow of candlelight. A waiter stood nearby, ready to serve them.
Adeola turned to Tuade, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Tuade, what's all this?" she asked, her voice filled with wonder.
Tuade smiled, taking her hand in his. "I wanted to do something special for you, Adeola," he replied, his voice filled with emotion. "Please, have a seat."
As Adeola took her seat at the table, a musician appeared, playing a romantic melody on his guitar. Tuade's heart swelled with love as he watched Adeola, his soulmate, sitting before him.
Taking a deep breath, Tuade reached for a red rose on the table, a sparkling diamond ring tied around its stem. He held it out to Adeola, his eyes locked with hers.
"Adeola, from the moment I met you, I knew you were the one for me," Tuade began, his voice steady despite the butterflies in his stomach. "You are my dream woman, my partner in every sense of the word. With you, I have found happiness, love, and purpose."
Adeola's eyes widened in surprise as she took in the sight of the ring. She gasped softly, her hand flying to her mouth in disbelief.
"Tuade, what is this?" she asked, her voice trembling with emotion.
Tuade smiled, his heart overflowing with love. "Adeola, will you marry me?" he asked, his voice filled with hope.
Tears welled up in Adeola's eyes as she gazed at Tuade, her heart bursting with love. "Yes, Tuade, yes!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with joy. "I love you, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."
Tuade's face broke into a wide grin as he slipped the ring onto Adeola's finger, sealing their love with a promise of forever. As they embraced, the world seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of them and the endless possibilities that lay ahead.
Chapter 4
Tuade and Adeola sat together, their hearts brimming with excitement as they prepared to share their joyful news with Tuade's parents. They had been waiting for this moment for what felt like an eternity, and now that it was finally here, they could hardly contain their excitement.
"Are you ready, love?" Tuade asked, his voice filled with anticipation.
Adeola nodded, her smile radiant. "Yes, Tuade. Let's give them a call," she replied, her fingers flying over the touchscreen of her phone.
The screen lit up with the familiar faces of Baba and Mama Adewale, their smiles widening as they saw their son and his fiancée.
"Hello, my dear ones!" Mama Adewale exclaimed, her voice filled with warmth.
"Hello, Baba, Mama!" Tuade and Adeola chorused in unison, their faces beaming with joy.
Baba Adewale leaned closer to the screen, his eyes twinkling with curiosity. "What's this? You two look like you have some exciting news to share," he remarked, his voice tinged with anticipation.
Tuade exchanged a glance with Adeola, his heart pounding with excitement. "Yes, Baba, Mama. We have some wonderful news to share with you," he began, his voice filled with emotion.
Adeola reached for Tuade's hand, her fingers entwining with his as she spoke. "Tuade and I are engaged!" she announced, her voice filled with joy.
Baba and Mama Adewale's faces lit up with surprise and delight. "Engaged? Oh, congratulations, my darlings!" Mama Adewale exclaimed, her eyes shining with happiness.
Baba Adewale chuckled, his eyes twinkling with pride. "That's wonderful news, Tuade, Adeola. We couldn't be happier for you both," he declared, his voice filled with affection.
As the conversation turned to wedding plans and future celebrations, Tuade couldn't help but notice the backdrop behind his parents—a bustling street in Paris, the Eiffel Tower visible in the distance.
"Are you two in Paris?" Tuade asked, his curiosity piqued.
Baba Adewale nodded, a sheepish smile on his face. "Yes, we decided to take a spontaneous trip to Europe. Life is too short to wait, you know," he replied, his voice filled with excitement.
Tuade couldn't help but feel a twinge of concern at his parents' extravagant spending, but he pushed the thought aside, not wanting to dampen the joy of their engagement announcement.
